For many years the business unit Special Metals Technology has been using a specially developed method of manufacturing precision tubes, which gives our customers access to a top-quality product with maximum purity and narrow manufacturing tolerances. Apart from the classical tube drawing, extrusion is also used as a forming process.
Precision tubes distinguish themselves by their good resistance to various hydrous solutions and acids, to molten baths and vapour and also demonstrate excellent corrosion resistance, not to forget, high temperature reliability and biocompatibility.
